Not at all. Lessons are generated for your level, so your very first episode meets you where you are - complete beginner included.
Yes. Every lesson and flashcard exists in both Serbian scripts with proper localized letterforms. The Cyrillic toggle unlocks once you reach level B1 - first get comfortable hearing the language, then add the second script.
Govorly uses FSRS, a modern spaced-repetition algorithm. It shows you due cards first, then new ones, and times each return to the moment you’re most likely about to forget.
Both live in Settings → Data & privacy: request a full machine-readable export, or delete your account - each confirmed with a code emailed to you, no support ticket needed. See our privacy policy for details.
Govorly Plus is free while we’re in beta - the whole product, no card required. Final pricing comes at launch, and we’ll announce it well in advance.
